Welcome To One Family Chiropractic

Health. Happiness. Life. The three core values for which I have founded my practice on are the values I embrace everyday. As a chiropractor, my ultimate goal is to have you, your family, and the entire community living their best lives every day, by helping you learn the importance of a healthy brain and nervous system.

Dr. Megha

PX & Webster-Certified Doctor of Chiropractic

At the age of six, I had my first allergic reaction. I went into anaphylactic shock after being exposed to an excess amount of dust in the air. After multiple similar episodes, I had to accept that this was just the start of, what I thought was going to be, a lifelong struggle with my health. I was taking 4 – 6 pills per day, constantly puffing through inhalers, and having weekly doctor’s visits, with 100s of allergy shots, for the next 15 years. Even with the time, money, and effort put towards my health, I knew I was still not in the best place.

Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to do something where I would be making a profound impact on other’s health and their overall quality of life. I received my first chiropractic adjustment when I was 20 years old. I began to immediately notice subtle differences, and after getting regular adjustments, the changes to my health were overwhelmingly impactful. That was when I knew that not only did I find the answer I was looking for personally, but this was what I was meant to do for the rest of my life.

I am now a PX & Webster-Certified Doctor of Chiropractic with training in pediatrics and pregnancy from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2018, graduating magna cum laude, with distinctions in philosophy and clinic excellence from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Prior to Life University, I received my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. I am grateful for the opportunity to practice in Northern Virginia as I am an alumnus of local schools: McLean High School (McLean, Virginia) and Westminster School (Annandale, Virginia).

Outside of serving the Vienna and Tyson’s Corner community with the best care, I enjoy outdoor activities, dancing Bhangra (an Indian Folk Dance), going to CrossFit, listening to podcasts and music, and spending time with my family and friends.

Dr. Michaela

PX & Webster-Certified Doctor of Chiropractic

My introduction to chiropractic care came through my younger brother’s experience as a young athlete. After seeing him make incredible progress through the help of chiropractic care I was inspired to pursue chiropractic as my own career path. Throughout my career, and even more so since entering the world of pediatric chiropractic, my passion for promoting wellness and vitality in children and families has grown. I am blessed to see miraculous changes in our families lives every single day.

My mission as a care provider is helping children and families live their happiest, healthiest lives and I’m thrilled to be a part of the One Family Chiropractic team that shares this same mission. I have directly seen how brain-based chiropractic care allows developing kiddos (and their families) to not just survive but thrive! I am so excited to help expand the impact that One Family has on our local families and can’t wait to meet yours! Certified in pediatric chiropractic and licensed in Virginia, with additional expertise in perinatal chiropractic care, I am committed to delivering the highest quality, non-invasive, and effective care; empowering our community to achieve their utmost potential.

Beyond the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, serving the community with my church, and outdoor adventures like hiking, hammocking and camping.

Krystal

Emerging into adulthood showed me the importance of taking care of yourself for long-term benefits and health. I’ve always taken an interest in personal wellbeing but being an athlete for my entire adolescence comes with strenuous practices and sore recoveries. The journey of reconstructing my view on health and fitness is ever-changing and I’m excited to learn the importance of chiropractic care for one’s well being.

Seeing the impact Dr. Megha and Dr. Michaela have on people’s health inspires me to imagine the future of health widespread. The benefits and positive outcomes of neurological care are vast, and being a part of a family that provides such care is exciting. As I recently moved to the area from Southern Maryland, I look forward to meeting and getting to know those in my new community!

In my off time, you can find me listening to a good podcast, at the gym, or with my family and friends. If the season is right, you can find me on the sidelines of a good football game either spectating or coaching youth cheerleading.

Cassie

Care Coordinator

As a mama returning to work outside the home for the first time in close to 3 years, I was so thankful to come across a family-friendly and community-centered office. While I am new to chiropractic care, my career has centered around healthcare and I am ready to learn from a new perspective with Dr. Megha. My journey to and through motherhood has connected me to the importance of wellness from a whole new perspective. I am passionate about biologically normal infant sleep and development. I am excited to learn about how chiropractic care can connect missing pieces and correct red flags we see in infant and toddler development! You will see me in the office a couple of times a week but I am also going to be the face behind our social media pages! Dr. Megha brings such a fun energy and I want to translate that to our online presence as well.

Outside of the office, you can find me all around the area with my daughters as I am a mama who rarely stays at home. With two toddlers our free time is limited but I love having game nights with my husband, exploring local events on the weekend, and spending time with my parents and sisters.

I grew up just miles from One Family Chiropractic, down Gallows Road in Annandale, and returned to Northern Virginia in 2023. Before joining One Family, I worked as a chiropractic assistant, where I gained valuable experience in holistic wellness. Now I’m thrilled to broaden my understanding of health and support the transformative power of whole-family and brain-based chiropractic care.

My personal journey into better health and wellness began in 2012, but it truly deepened when I discovered acupuncture and herbal medicine 2019. This transformative experience reshaped my understanding of healing from the inside-out and inspired me to help others find balance and vitality. This is why I’m studying and aspire to be a licensed acupuncturist by 2026.

In my free time, I enjoy movies and live theater outings with my mom, walks in nature, practicing Qi Gong, and maintaining a home yoga and mindfulness practice. I also love tackling mini-crosswords and Wordle puzzles for a fun mental workout. My favorite YouTube channel for years has been “Recess Therapy!”

Anju

Office Mom

An Indian mother of 3, I used to look at my health and truly feel that I had no significant health concerns. However, my health for an almost 60 year old, fell under many issues females face AND I thought it was normal i.e. medications for my thyroid and cholesterol, constantly running around, balancing the mom, employee, wife, devotee faces, etc.

As my daughter went through Chiropractic school, she would come home and express how important it is for everyone to see a brain based chiropractor. Eventually, my husband and I decided to go see one while she was still in school. It was not a horrible experience, however, I did not feel any value from it after months of consistency. So we stopped.

Dr. Megha (I love how I can refer to my daughter as doctor) decided she was going to open up and with all my blessings and support she built One Family Chiropractic. Looking at this journey, I wanted to be in THIS family and get under her care. I also wanted to support her because I love her and would do anything for her (sound familiar moms out there)

AFTER 6 months of consistent care, all my concerning blood level reports in regards to cholesterol and blood sugar had decreased. Even my primary care physician surprisingly asked, “what have you done?”.

It was amazing to see my numbers change, but more importantly, now my entire family is under care and we are living a more fulfilled and healthy life.

I give credit to my consistency and my daughter’s passion to heal families.

My personal favorites: Outside of family fun, I enjoy Bollywood movies/songs, singing, my dedication to the congregation I serve (Sant Nirankari Mission), and playing a role to all the babies in our office!
